Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Finance Transformation Location: Remote with Monthly Travel to Detroit, MI Position Type: Contract (12-18 months, with strong potential to convert to permanent) About the Role: We are partnering with a leading national professional services firm to find a Senior Project Manager to oversee critical finance transformation initiatives. This high-impact role is ideal for a seasoned project manager with proven experience in driving successful finance transformation projects. The position is expected to last 12-18 months, with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role with the company. The work will primarily be completed remotely, with monthly travel to the Detroit area required to collaborate with the team and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify and address challenges and risks. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and outcomes to senior leadership. Ensure adherence to best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements in all aspects of the projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance transformation process. Qualifications: Proven experience managing large-scale finance transformation projects. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with finance systems and processes; familiarity with ERP or financial software is a plus. Ability to travel to Detroit on a monthly basis as required.
