AI Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. The AI Engineer will work on developing and implementing AI and machine learning algorithms, models, and systems to solve complex problems and improve business processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in AI model development, programming, and data analysis, with a passion for cutting-edge technologies. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for AI Engineer: $129,000 - $170,000 plus annual bonus. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. AI Engineer Responsibilities Include:
- AI and Machine Learning Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, including classification, regression, clustering, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
- Data Analysis: Process, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract insights and identify patterns that can be leveraged for model development.
- Model Training and Optimization: Train machine learning models, tune hyperparameters, and optimize the performance of models using techniques like cross-validation, feature engineering, and model selection.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI models into production systems and products.
- Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, and apply new techniques and methodologies to solve real-world challenges.
- Testing and Validation: Evaluate and validate the performance of AI models and algorithms, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Deployment and Maintenance: Deploy AI solutions in production environments and monitor their performance, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed documentation for AI systems and models, explaining the underlying methods, assumptions, and results.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
AI Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and AI technologies, 3 to 5 years' experience is required.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages (e.g., C++, Java).
- Machine Learning Frameworks: Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, or similar.
- Data Handling: Strong knowledge of data manipulation and analysis using tools like Pandas, NumPy, SQL, etc.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex tasks autonomously.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in AI-related fields like Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment.
- Experience in deploying machine learning models in production systems at scale.
- Research experience in academic or industry AI-related fields.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and experience in data wrangling and preprocessing.
- Knowledge of algorithms, optimization methods, and software engineering practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to continuously learn and adapt to evolving AI technologies and tools.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
