Introduction:

The Regional Inventory Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and managing Toshiba parts inventory with Field Service Technicians. The Regional Inventory Coordinator will manage inventory cycle counts, logistics planning, storage locations, and the ongoing validation of inventory to exceed our client delivery requirements. This role will have responsibility to maintain inventory variances for each location within their geography and work closely with the Service Delivery Management team on process adherence and random audits associated to the inventory. This role will assist in client support of inventory that is both owned and consigned to enable a logistics model that supports deliverables. The position will also work with our 3PL to align our Forward Stocking Locations in support of our business growth and work closely with our planning organization on the automation of service orders.

Candidates for this role will need to reside within the West Region Territory: CA, WA, TX, OR, CO, AZ, UT

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services, holding them accountable to project scope, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Inventory cycle counts, manage inventory variances, and support new logistics programs.
  • Leads or assists with scoping, identification of project deliverables, service parts inventory, logistic models, and ensure that the creation of project-specific documentation and reporting, such as technical specifications, are produced.
  • Work as the primary lead for Inventory and Logistics Support for Maintenance Services organization. Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of inventory variance and organization performance.
  • Provide service parts inventory guidance to local support team as well as work with Maintenance Services partners for sustainment of related activities.
  • Participates in business and technical problem-solving with potential technical options including geographic, front-end studies, deployment plans, and presentations.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of related experience and education.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting across business functional organizations in logistics and inventory management.
  • Forward thinking and proactive approach to managing business requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory cycle counts.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with logistic models with the ability to learn and apply new and emerging concepts very quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical foundation.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement across the team.
  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional / matrix environment.
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into business terms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in software applications, Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
