Client Relationship Manager
Location: Baltimore, Maryland or New York, New York
We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Client Relationship Manager to join a growing Fintech client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with a growing client base, with a primary focus on asset managers. The CRM will play a critical role in onboarding clients, driving platform engagement, and securing renewals and upsells. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients.
- Engage with various client teams (e.g., RFP, Sales/Distribution, and Marketing) to understand their needs and use cases.
- Systematically onboard and implement clients onto the platform, following up to ensure engagement.
- Deliver platform demos and updates to client teams, coordinating with internal colleagues when necessary.
- Ensure clients remain responsive and engaged, driving their platform usage.
- Address client queries and support internal sales and CRM teams.
- Collect client feedback and collaborate with the technology team to develop new services and tools.
- Drive strategic initiatives, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience working with clients in SaaS, fintech, or the investment management industry (preferably in Client Success, Business Development, or Account Management).
- Understanding of SaaS platforms, due diligence processes, and basic knowledge of the investment management industry preferred; curiosity to learn is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to translate client needs into actionable plans and monitor progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships and navigate diverse cultural and business scenarios.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client issues simultaneously and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated and process-oriented with a desire to challenge the status quo and drive improvements.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
