(3-6 month temporary legal assistant assignment onsite 5 days at Englewood Cliffs, NJ)

Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support for the Safety and Regulatory Legal team
  • Process outside counsel, insurance, and other vendor invoices
  • Build invoice processing system for team management
  • Accounting reports to HQ
  • Manage team expense budgets
  • Maintain litigation log and provide monthly litigation statistics
  • Litigation intake and distribution
  • Compile quarterly case reports for internal client distribution
  • Support team counsels with fact-finding and legal research


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years or more of relevant experience
  • Excellent computer skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Willingness to learn and become proficient with proprietary LG systems
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent reading and comprehension skills
  • Strong legal research and document drafting skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work with tight deadlines
  • Proficient ability to detect errors and must be a team player
  • Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department desired
  • English and Korean language proficiency is a plus
