Summary

Plans and coordinates all sales programs and activities concerning assigned chain account. Programs to include new item authorizations, sales planning, contract management and implementation of store sets. Responsible for interaction with customers at Corporate and store level as well as interacting with internal personnel to communicate programming, pricing, execution standards and policies. Administers customer contacts files, chain display installation reports and pricing levels for assigned chain accounts by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Establishes and maintains close working relationships with assigned primary chain buyers.

Communicates with suppliers, chain buyers, the marketing department, and sales for everyday and feature pricing.

Produces, presents and implements shelf management and shelf set systems with authorized chains.

Acts as a shelf set consultant to provide set reviews and recommendations.

Coordinates and sells programs by brand priority and required profit levels.

Sells authorizations and tracks distributions on current and new Empire brands.

Communicates programming details to all levels (Supplier, buyer, marketing and sales).

Communicates with retail customers on program status and results.

Updates customer contacts and chain authorization lists.

Maintains, updates, and communicates chain display installation reports with suppliers when required.

Verifies and corrects pricing for all chain accounts.

Provides business reviews with chain buyers as needed.

Conducts inventory projections.

Assists customers by participating in developing and implementing resets.

Entertains and develops rapport with chain account buyers and zone managers.

Assists branch sales with chain programs.

Updates Chain Contracts.

Develops interest at buyer level with regard to local chain programs and events.

Other duties as directed by the GA Chain Division Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises Key Account Managers, and Key Account Fine Wine Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems and Spreadsheet software, Diver reporting software and Social Media programs.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have the ability to sustain a current and valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue.
