What You'll Do in This Position

Responsible for assisting or directly organizing, developing, analyzing, and maintaining project controls, financial analysis and estimating applications required to monitor established objectives, and to prepare status and management reports that identify variances in the work execution strategy along with recommending solutions. Provide management with the required cost and schedule analysis (including recommended corrective actions) to maintain cost and schedule control throughout the life cycle of the project or work activity.

"Under limited supervision, performs basic Project Control activities. Those activities include, but are not limited to:
- Understands EVMS principles and applications as it relates to operating work scope
- Review, interpret and analyze project control data or results, and prepare management reports along with corresponding recommendations, utilize the analysis to develop performance improvement actions.
- Utilize planning meetings as appropriate and gather data for database input.
- Understands and applies a basic understanding of the scheduling/cost/accounting basic terminology of the scheduling/cost/ accounting field, its principles, practices, and concepts
- Prepares presentations for project reviews, client reviews, management reviews, etc.
- Collects data, inputs updates, and produces cost/scheduling management reports that enables the effective management of the account/project scope.
- Requires efficiency and accuracy in generating and gathering data. Maintains orderly records to ensure the integrity of the system
- Performs financial analysis techniques including but not limited to variance analysis, statistical analysis, and scenario analysis to projects and decisions as requested by management.
- Applies a basic knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) , Cost Elements, and General Ledger to work activities."

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

DOE O 413.3 Experience

Project Controls Experience (Cost, Schedule, Cobra, Primavera P6, Estimating)
SRNS Business System Experience
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Experience
Professional project-related certifications (such as PMI-PMP, AACEi-EVP etc)
