Ericsson Enterprise Wireless is seeking a Network Engineer within our Information Technology organization with experience that includes defining, designing, implementing, and supporting the network infrastructure of a geographically distributed company. This position requires a progressive, energetic engineer who has experience stitching together coherent solutions that integrate a wide variety of locations/countries, hardware vendors, and telecommunication service providers to build a secure, highly-resilient platform for data, voice and video. What will you do * Be a collaborative team member responsible for structuring solutions across the business * Provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations for designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining highly-available, scalable, and secure network capabilities * Provide support and leadership during all network issues or outages driving to resolution. * Testing solutions to validate capabilities and continuously measure preparedness. * Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation. * Support, maintain and document designs and configurations. * Proactive patching & maintenance of all network devices. * Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, providing timely support and resolution for critical network issues. The skills you bring * 2-4 years of network engineering experience, 5+ years as an individual contributor. * Hands-on experience working with Telecommunication vendors and resellers. * Experience with Cisco Administration: Proficiency in daily Cisco device management, including operating system upgrades and lifecycle management. * Network Topology Diagramming: Ability to create and interpret network topology diagrams. * Dynamic Routing Protocols: Experience in troubleshooting and implementing dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF. * Site-to-Site Tunneling: Expertise in configuring and managing site-to-site tunnels within a globally distributed environment. * OSI Model Knowledge: Solid understanding of the OSI model and its application in network troubleshooting. Additional Qualifications: * ZTNA: Familiarity with ZTNA architecture principles. * Cisco Catalyst Center: Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center for network management. * Azure Networking: Knowledge of networking within Microsoft Azure environments. * Palo Alto Firewall Administration: Experience in general administration of Palo Alto firewalls. Education: * A degree, equivalent diploma, or years of experience in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study * Relevant industry certifications including, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ Why join Ericsson? The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. * $99,200- $148,800 Your Health Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions offers excellent, competitive employee benefits, such as: subsidized, nationwide PPO medical benefit options including a low-deductible Point of Service Plan and a qualifying High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), with a generous company-provided HSA contribution.
