Key Job Responsibilities
* Manages global reclaim feeder & sizer crushing product line including revenue and profitability growth through the development of OE product, parts and marketing strategies in alignment with business objectives and overall global Komatsu product strategies * Utilize Voice of Customer / Voice of Sales /Voice of Dealer while analyzing customer intelligence, trends and requirements to develop and implement encompassing global product strategy * Collaborate with director of product strategy as well as engineering, marketing, manufacturing, sourcing, financing, and sales to prioritize product development funnel (based on financial and strategic importance) regarding product releases, quality, cost downs and product improvements. * Responsible for development and execution of product roadmap to drive global go to market strategies (Market Introduction Process) in alignment with crushing product family business unit objectives. * Business leader for sizer and reclaim feeder products through collaboration with all cross-functional organizations to achieve specific product outcomes. o Accountable for product price, cost, profitability, market share, competitive analysis, product quality and inventory. o Set and manage clear customer-facing product offerings or options that the organization can commercially promise and deliver. o Set list price for product, features, aftermarket parts, and services. * Responsible for implementing strategies to drive new product development, and management of technical features and options. o Creates product roadmaps, new product development plans, and implement "next model" developments, blending market and business requirements to drive short- & medium-term business performance and long-term customer satisfaction in alignment with Komatsu global product strategies o Develop the ability to manage product life cycle strategies to drive the sunrise and sunset of product offerings, features and options in alignment with product roadmaps, proven designs, cost controls and inventory. o Drive accountability for development of cross-product platforms, maintenance of product configuration options, and consistent use of Komatsu Mining's business systems and databases. * Manage profitability targets by aligning with supply chain and manufacturing to support best SLQDC (Safety, Law, Quality, Delivery, Cost) sourcing and assembly locations to support customer demand.
