The Senior Customer Development Manager is responsible for the functional management, leadership, and execution of all sales related activities for Walmart. The primary responsibilities are to attain/exceed current and long- term sales, distribution and merchandising goals associated with the integrated commercial planning process. The individual will work closely with the internal strategy, category management, finance, and functional support teams to identify and develop business opportunities that will advance our partnership and industry leadership with Walmart. This is a hybrid role and must be based near Bentonville, AR supporting the Walmart account in Boost/CBE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
List the main results which the job must deliver in order to achieve its purpose.
* Deliver sales and distribution goals while managing trade within budget
* Manage Trade Investment Management (TIM): system inputs, trade fund management, sales, and promotional forecasts, etc.
* Develop annual business plan and manage Joint Business Planning with Walmart
* Understand Walmart's go-to-market strategy and how to position NHS for success
* Develop and execute promotional plans aligned with brand and category growth strategies
* Identify new opportunities for growth within customer
* Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives and collaborate with merchandising team to develop operational plans and measure results.
* Develop and manage business relationship with cross functional merchandising team
* Gain a deep understanding of current and future needs of the customer
* Educate business partners on our products, retail goals, and success measures
* Manage the line review process which includes developing and presenting line review presentations that support new item sell-in, shelf positioning, promotions, pricing, etc.
* Manage daily business operations with customer: including UPC product/item setup, maintenance, logistics and inventory management.
* Understand how to manage trade effectively with a focus on improving ROIs and overall efficiencies
* Weekly/Monthly reporting and share-outs, sales analytics, and insights to action; Quarterly Investment Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc
* Understand Customer P&L and key drivers impacting customer profitability
* Maintain a high level of industry, category, customer, and consumer knowledge related to our products, services, and goals

EXPERIENCE
* 8+ years of industry experience; 4+ years managing national accounts, large regional customers preferred
* Experience in HQ roles, sales strategy and/or customer development is preferred
* Experience with Walmart, consumer packaged goods, and vitamins & supplements is highly preferred
* Prior experience using syndicated data to identify opportunities to improve assortment, optimize pricing and enhance promotional activities that will increase sales and market share for the company (category management and strong analytic skills are beneficial)
* Knowledge regarding Project Management, and experience with setting up and managing projects in a complex, fast-moving environment
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field highly preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS
* Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
* High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines
* Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
* Deep understanding of the assigned Customer and how to develop demand creation plans
* The ability to think creatively and push beyond the obvious, challenge the status quo and pioneer new opportunities, utilize an entrepreneurial mindset
* Problem solver with a solution-oriented mindset
* Must be a dynamic leader who can push past obstacles and overcome objections
* Understand the value of listening to customers, gaining insights, and moving objectives forward
* Must be an articulate communicator who can quickly synthesize data
* P&L management and strong financial acumen
* Ability to negotiate with business partners
* This role requires travel to customer for in-person meetings, HQ meetings and market/store trips
