Role: .NET Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Architect with 14 to 18 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kubernetes NoSQL Python SQL Server Restful APIs Azure SSO DevOps .NET Core ASP.NET Core MSTEST Entity Framework Dependency Injection and .Net Framework. Experience in Opera & LMS Property Management System ReactorCX Cloud-Native Loyalty Platform CRS modernization and Central Reservations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using .Net Core and ASP.NET Core technologies.
Prior work experience in ReactorCX Cloud-Native Loyalty Platform
Familiarity and experience in Property Management System like Opera & LMS
Oversee the implementation of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
Provide expertise in NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks to enhance productivity.
Manage SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
Develop and maintain Restful APIs to support seamless integration with other systems.
Implement Azure SSO for secure and efficient user authentication.
Drive DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle.
Conduct unit testing using MSTEST to ensure code quality and reliability.
Apply Entity Framework for data access and manipulation in applications.
Implement Dependency Injection to enhance code modularity and testability.
Ensure compliance with .Net Framework standards and best practices.\
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:
* Possess a minimum of 14 years of experience in software development and architecture.
* Demonstrate expertise in Kubernetes NoSQL Python SQL Server Restful APIs Azure SSO DevOps .Net Core ASP.NET Core MSTEST Entity Framework Dependency Injection and .Net Framework.
* Experience in CRS modernization and Central Reservations is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid work model.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
* Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until January 28, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $89,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
