Position Description:	The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physiatrist to join our team of faculty physiatrists and to build an outpatient practice focused on musculoskeletal care and EMG. Appointment is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor based on background and qualifications and may be either on the Clinical or Tenure Track. Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
Education Requirement:	The candidate must hold an MD, DO or equivalent degree from an accredited or recognized medical or osteopathic school. The candidate must have graduated from a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program.
Required Qualifications:	The candidate must be eligible for Iowa medical licensure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ongoing performance improvement. Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace.
Certifications:	Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, required.
