The Regional Service Manager will manage and lead a team of TLD technicians and enforce all required processes to improve TLD support by being the first escalation point. They are also responsible for performing repairs on TLD equipment. They will oversee all service activity in an assigned region and manage the project assigned. The Regional Service Manager will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems on TLD-manufactured units
  • Manage the Service activity through internal tools
  • Remotely supporting customers and technicians on complex repairs
  • Scheduling and Dispatching
  • Perform repairs and adjustments to various components and operating systems on the TLD product line, equipment or related components.
  • Ability to disassemble components and to reassemble.
  • Professional interaction with internal and external customers as well as the staff they will lead.
  • Enforce housekeeping duties, including cleaning the work area, toolboxes, and company vehicle(s)
  • Repair and/or overhaul components like electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Oversee technician's daily assignments.
  • Manage and oversee dispatching and travel
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Leading and training junior technicians.
  • Monitor and reinforce TLD procedures and TOC logs.
  • Manager escalated issues with the proper level of support
  • Follow up with technician's daily assignments
  • Evaluate technician's abilities and efficiency and suggest proper training and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. * 5 years of related experience and a broad knowledge of TLD's product line and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used for the satisfactory performance of duties.

* Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings and measuring scales proficiently.

* Ability to read and understand Electrical Schematics and Hydraulic Schematics.

* Qualified to troubleshoot with customers and technicians remotely.

* Knowledge of PLC and Can-bus systems

*Certified to handle refrigerants section 609 - type 2 or universal, preferred but not required.

* Working knowledge of advanced electrical troubleshooting, Hydraulics, Air Conditioning and Diesel Engine applications

* Ability to train junior tech and customers to understand Electrical Schematics and Hydraulic Schematics.

* Travel is required for this role. The percentage may vary depending on the candidates' location in relation to the assigned region.
