JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar. The position will involve performing laboratory research on oxide, nitride, and carbide thin films for electronic applications.The position is based in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, working under the supervision of Professor Jon-Paul Maria, and there will be opportunities to collaborate and interact with a broad group of faculty and students. This postdoctoral position is funded for one year from the date of hire, with an excellent possibility of renewal pending available funding and satisfactory performance.
