Manager, Total Rewards

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Manager, Total Rewards in Dallas, TX, who will manage and coordinate all aspects of the planning and administration of employee benefits.

Job Duties

  • Leads the Total Rewards Benefits department by managing global employee benefits programs, including plan design, renewal process, negotiation with vendors, preparation of annual benefits budget, cost analysis and regular reporting, policy governance, and employee communication
  • Leads, develops and mentors individuals across the functional areas of Benefits
  • Partners with Director, Total Rewards to ensure all programs support the organization's strategic objectives and are competitive, cost effective and in compliance with legal requirements
  • Provides consultation to all locations on various employee plans (i.e., health, welfare, defined contribution, defined benefit plans, etc.)
  • Evaluates status of current programs to ensure employee satisfaction, determine competitiveness within industry, as well as to minimize costs
  • Confers with Human Resources leadership & executive leadership concerning program structure and expenses
  • Acts as a Privacy Officer and ensures that HIPAA compliance is in place
  • Support M&A activities as required
  • Works together with the Administrative and Investment Committees on ERISA Plans to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations including filings



Special projects assigned to the employee by their superior as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of on-the-job experience, is required.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, in a business or human resources related field, is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

A Master's degree is preferred.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Responsible for four exempt level professionals.

Work Conditions

Office based with up to 10% travel by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
