Terracon Consultants, a nationwide engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Occupational/Industrial Hygienist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position would be part of a very skilled team that performs airborne chemical monitoring, noise monitoring, indoor air quality surveys, asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, safety audits, and other activities. Role Overview: The Senior Occupational/Industrial Hygienist will perform complex occupational health and industrial hygiene tasks, including developing, implementing, maintaining, and enforcing regulations, policies, and programs to identify, evaluate, control, and prevent workplace hazards. This role also serves as a project manager and technical advisor on occupational health and safety. Job Description: This position will be primarily based in Raleigh, NC, and support projects throughout North Carolina and the Southeast, as needed. Knowledge of asbestos inspections, asbestos management planning, operations and maintenance plans development, abatement oversight, air monitoring, employee exposure assessments, noise assessments and hearing conservation, ventilation, mold assessments and remediation plan development, and indoor environmental quality investigations are required.
