The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Pay Range: $80,300.00 - $120,400.00Job Description About the Role: The Lead Internal Communications Representative conceives, develops, and implements communication strategies and tactics aimed at engaging and informing University employee and occasionally student audiences. The incumbent is a senior member of the Internal Communications team, consulting with and supporting senior management across the organization to deliver strategic, well-planned communication to employees and students. This role will partner closely with different teams and leaders across the entire University while demonstrating the ability to solve complex problems and to maintain a flexible and solution-oriented mindset. This role will put communication plans into action, creating and crafting compelling written and visual communications for multiple audiences while using different channels including the University Intranet. The Lead will work effectively with teammates and internal clients alike, influence at all levels, adapt quickly when needed, and be willing to support projects outside of the core role in order to help advance the University's mission and vision. Location:This position requires you to be located in or around Salt Lake City, UTwith the ability to work 4 days per week in-office at our headquarters: 4001 South 700 East Salt Lake City, UT 84107.
