Description

1st shift



  • Analyze customer-shipping requirements & create ship lists to meet requirements.
  • Coordinate the safe storage, loading & unloading of product to insure the quality of the product is maintained.
  • Coordinate proper shipping documents with each shipment.
  • Responsible to conduct E.D.I. transactions as required by the customer.
  • Schedule trucks for inbound & outbound freight.
  • Give direction to the shipping team & team leader to drive priorities & assignments.
  • Maintain records of releases, shipping documents & keep the pricing, shipping & billing destinations current.
  • Order supplies to maintain adequate inventory of shipping supplies.
  • Develop a good customer relationship with all customers, customer contact backup. Rotating weekend coverage.
  • Work on projects for continuous improvement of the S&R Department.
  • Treat all team members with respect & dignity.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Bachelors of Materials (preferred)
Experience
One to two years experience in S&R Supervision in the auto industry. (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications
Fork Lift / HI LO (preferred)

  • Plex Mfg Software (preferred)
  • Good Communication & Written Skills (preferred)
  • Forklift / HiLo (required)
  • Computer Literate (preferred)
