Our department has a proud tradition of clinical excellence. It comprises nationally and internationally recognized leaders in maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, family planning, and general obstetrics and gynecology. Our department is also one of the first in the nation to house a dedicated Division of Obstetric-Gynecologic Hospitalists. Although primarily based at the 400-bed, tertiary referral UC Irvine Health Douglas Hospital in Orange, our faculty and staff serve a number of clinical practice locations throughout the region, including Long Beach, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Anaheim and Laguna Hills. Your Role on the Team Under the general supervision of the Finance Manager and the Chief Administrative Officer in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, incumbent is responsible for the direct analysis and management of financial activities for assigned divisions and accounts. Major duties include unrestricted, gift, endowment and assigned research fund management, external contract billing and monitoring, divisional budgeting and profit and loss statements, reconciliation of divisional accounts with accounting ledgers and financial account transfers. Develops and maintains systems to assure conformity with UC accounting policies for reporting to Division Directors, Program Directors and management in the department. Utilize Decision Support Systems to generate reports, ensure data is accurately reported in the system. Audit and analyze data for assigned projects. What It Takes to be Successful Required:
