The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell's delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinate Steel Fabrication Shipments: Manage the scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments to ensure timely delivery to clients or warehouses.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, track inventory, and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure products are available for shipping.
• Supplier & Vendor Communication: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, shipping carriers, and vendors to negotiate costs and resolve issues.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing slips) and ensure adherence to import/export regulations and company policies.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor logistics performance, prepare reports, and provide insights on cost-saving opportunities or process improvements.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate shipping, freight, and logistics contracts with carriers, suppliers, and third-party providers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Proficiency in Tekla PowerFab software

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
