Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Manager, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the therapeutic landscape at Newport Healthcare! In this pivotal position, you will partner with the Director of Operations to ensure that our clinical programming and treatment services not only meet but exceed the highest quality standards. You'll lead, inspire, and support a talented team of therapists, counselors, and ancillary clinical staff, while also managing a caseload of clients or families, making a real difference in their lives.


Responsibilities

Client Engagement: Manage a diverse caseload of clients and families, facilitating impactful therapy groups tailored to their unique needs.

Empowerment & Training: Provide comprehensive training, support, and supervision to clinicians and milieu staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

Leadership in Absence: Step into the role of Interim Clinical Director when needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Admissions Expertise: Conduct face-to-face clinical assessments and risk evaluations during admissions, crafting initial safety plans that prioritize client well-being.

Team Coordination: Assign caseloads and facilitate treatment team and clinical group supervision, ensuring everyone is aligned and empowered.

Quality Assurance: Conduct peer reviews and weekly audits of medical records, championing high-quality clinical documentation and treatment planning.

Crisis Intervention: Be a calming presence during crises, providing intervention and support to clients and families in need.

On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rotation, offering backup support for clinical emergencies and consultations.

Holistic Treatment Coordination: Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate comprehensive treatment and discharge planning.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance client care.

Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.

Communication Champion: Develop systems to enhance inter-departmental communication, ensuring everyone is informed and engaged.

Community Representation: Conduct facility tours and represent Newport Healthcare at community events, showcasing our commitment to excellence.

Additional Responsibilities: Embrace other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our clinical programs.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required from an accredited or state approved graduate school. Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Psychologist is required in the state in which you are applying.
  • The ability to supervise required.
  • Minimum three years' experience working with adolescents and families
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment preferred.
  • Willingness to be trained in Attachment Based Family Therapy required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $100,367- $133,000 per year depending on education and experience.
