Responsibilities
The Unit Coordinator is a specialized role focused on administrative duties and communication. The UC serves as the administrative support and answering phone for the unit. The Unit Coordinator greets all patients and assists in new patient orientation to the unit. This position will perform clerical duties and tasks to allow the unit to run smoothly. The Unit Coordinator position is critical in allowing direct care staff the ability to remain engaged and focused on patient care activities. Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree required or five years experience in healthcare Experience: Minimum one year office receptionist experience or equivalent; Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or Unit Clerk preferably in a service setting.
