Description We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Network Security Engineer to work with our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with business partners, internal teams and leadership to communicate, coordinate and execute new process and technology changes, and ensure effective implementation of project tasks, including improved network authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) solutions and controls. As a key liaison between business and technical teams, your primary focus will be to ensure smooth communication, alignment of goals and successful execution of process and network-related changes. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of basic networking concepts, project management, and hands-on experience with network security, particularly in the areas of authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA). Key Responsibilities: * Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for cross-functional teams to initiate compliance with new processes, ensure timely resolution of any challenges or questions related to exception processes or changes. * Collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and leadership to coordinate new process changes and improvements, monitor new control impacts, and track and coordinate technology enhancements testing and implementation; while ensuring that business needs are effectively communicated and addressed. * Monitor and manage 802.1x exceptions, troubleshoot issues related to process changes, communicate and coordinate requirements with stakeholders to work with the new process to ensure adherence to new process with minimal disruption to operations. * Partner with technology partner teams to ensure successful testing, deployment, timeline adherence for various project workstreams, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies Skills Network security, Network engineering, 802.1x, network authentication, Authorization, Information security, Cyber security, Firewall Top Skills Details Network security, Network engineering,802.1x,network authentication, Authorization Additional Skills & Qualifications Location: Chicago (preferred), Washington DC and Denver. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
