Columbia University in the City of New York: The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science: Earth and Environmental Engineering Location 01 - Morningside Open Date Oct 05, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $71,050 - $78,000 Description We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Bolun Xu and Prof. Dan Esposito on the modeling, optimization, and scheduling of electrochemical processes for the conversion of CO and water into liquid hydrocarbon fuels. The postdoctoral researcher will focus on dynamic process optimization, control strategies, and simulation-based design. The postdoctoral researcher will also be affiliated with the Columbia Electrochemical Energy Center (CEEC) which provides a collaborative platform for students and researchers looking to expand their horizons in electrochemical energy technology and translate that knowledge into impactful careers in academia, national labs, or industry.
