Quality Systems/Quality Management System

Quality Systems Management can be thought of as the process that makes sure our products are manufactured and distributed properly, and are consistent and bond by documentation, training and ownership. The goal is to achieve and maintain a desired level of quality within the organization and monitor and report and ensure we focus on the health of our systems and employees.

The Quality Systems team defines the requirements needed to ensure the processes and procedures are robust and act as the conduit to meet patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Tolmar Quality Systems is responsible for ensuring oversight of governing quality processes and procedures align with pharmaceutical compliance and what is needed to meet our product and process regulations and validation as well as measuring and monitoring timelines and procedural requirements.

Proposed Work Description

The nature of business is flexibility and knowing priorities can shift according to the needs of the company/department. Therefore, the work described below is a sampling of the kinds of work we expect this position to entail:



  • Assisting, tracking and maintaining quality system records coming due to help prevent users from missing due dates.
  • Assist in process improvements, creating new dashboards, routing documents, verifying and routing Logbooks.
  • Follow up with owners of paused, overdue and ageing documents.
  • Manage logbook retention process.
  • Assist, gather and prepare weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare agendas and slides prior to department board meetings (ICAPA, Veeva Core, Change Control, etc.).
  • Support document control systems by organizing, reviewing and archiving records and documents.
  • Final review of executed Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Effectiveness Checks (EFF).

Education & Experience



  • Actively perusing a college - or graduate-level degree in a scientific or engineering field.
  • Quality assurance and compliance interested in the pharmaceutical industry.


Working Conditions



  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Work will be on-site in Fort Collins.


    Compensation and Benefits



    • Pay: $19.00 per hour
    • Benefits include medical insurance and participation in the 401k plan
