What You'll Do:
As the Associate Director of Advocacy & Patient Affairs, you will play a pivotal role not only in shaping strategic initiatives but also in delivering and project managing these strategies with precision and passion. You'll ensure that patient perspectives are not only included but also serve as the driving force behind our efforts. As a trusted partner, you'll work alongside clients and internal teams to deliver solutions that are both strategic and executable, helping to bring meaningful, patient-centric innovations to life.
* Serve as a Strategic Partner: Work closely with clients to provide expert guidance on patient insights and advocacy strategies that will drive impactful business results.
* Lead Advocacy and Patient Engagement: Help shape strategies that connect patients with the clinical trials and therapies they need, ensuring patient-centric solutions are at the heart of everything we do.
* Project Management Excellence: You will be responsible for delivering and managing the execution of these strategies, ensuring seamless implementation while maintaining a focus on both patient impact and business objectives.
* Build Relationships: Engage with patient communities to understand their needs, translating these insights into actionable strategies that influence drug development and commercialization.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate patient perspectives into all aspects of the business and foster a collaborative, innovative culture within the Advocacy & Engagement team.
* Drive Business Development: Play a role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring continued growth for the team.
* Travel: Up to 5% travel to attend departmental meetings, client engagements, and advocacy conferences may be required.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: 8-10 years of experience in patient advocacy, pharma advocacy, patient engagement, or healthcare-focused non-profits or associations. Experience in biopharma, clinical trials, and healthcare is highly desirable.
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive initiatives that require collaboration and strategic thinking.
* Communication Skills: Expertise in simplifying complex concepts and communicating them clearly, whether with clients, internal teams, or patient communities.
* Business Savvy: Experience in business development, client relations, and managing budgets while driving innovation and growth.
* Passion for Advocacy: A deep commitment to ensuring the patient voice is heard and that advocacy is integrated into every aspect of drug development and delivery.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,600 to $210,900. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
