Department:Human ResourcesDepartment's Website: Operational Responsibilities and Knowledge Expert Areas Include: All pharmacy coverage activities within the UAS health plan. The position will coordinate PAC functions, PA processes and appeals and will serve as the lead contact for PBM services, pharmacy reporting and cost analyses, monitoring all pharmacy activities and recommending program changes as appropriate. The University's tuition fee waiver and student loan repayment programs, providing plan rules, training, and guidance to campus HR Offices, monitoring utilization, recommending program changes as appropriate, and managing program operations. Life and disability insurance programs and for other individual insured products (AD&D, vision, hospital indemnity, etc.). Property, vehicle, special events and other risk insurance programs. The position will evaluate coverage needs, develop System procedures and guidelines, safety programs, work with broker and consultant services in securing needed coverage, and assist campuses with special events and other one-time coverage requests. The position will develop, and coordinate campus reporting on risk management activities and maintain appropriate records of campus safety and security issues as required for assessment of processes and practices. Property management and risk insurance for the UAS Cammack Campus. Responsibilities include oversight of all buildings and grounds maintenance, housekeeping, management of renovation, repairs, and construction activities, vehicle maintenance, and for buildings and grounds security systems. Qualifications: The position requires a baccalaureate degree in human resources management, insurance administration, or in a related field. Work experience of not less than five years in administration of HR services, employee benefits programs, or in risk insurance administration is required. Administrative work experience must demonstrate independent decision making and problem solving with awareness of policy and compliance issues, skill in written and verbal communication of complex topics, concurrent management of multiple diverse issues, and coordination of multiple participants in project assignments. Work experience in higher education and SHRM certification are preferred.
