Share Facility Project Superintendent (Part-Time) General Info Job Type: Part-Time Location: Apex/FSE - Warner Robins, GA Min. Yrs. Experience: 10 years Pay: $50.00/hr. Hours: Part-Time (TBD) Position Overview: A highly experienced construction professional who provides on-call superintendent services for federal construction projects. The role focuses on managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and maintaining project quality and schedules on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day construction operations on federal projects, ensuring work meets contract specifications, building codes, and quality standards - Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractors, managing their schedules, work quality, and safety compliance - Review and verify subcontractor work against project plans, specifications, and submittals - Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to maintain OSHA compliance and federal safety standards - Maintain detailed daily reports documenting site activities, progress, weather conditions, and any issues or delays - Interface with federal agency representatives, contracting officers, and project stakeholders - Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders through appropriate federal channels - Ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon Act requirements and other federal labor regulations - Coordinate with QC/QA teams to maintain federal quality control standards Required Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision, with at least 5 years on federal projects - Strong knowledge of federal construction requirements, FAR clauses, and government contracting procedures - OSHA 10-hour certification - Experience with federal quality control systems and documentation requirements - Proven track record of managing multiple subcontractors and trade coordination - Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite - Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field - Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes - Background in military construction (MILCON) projects - Familiarity with BIM technology and project management software - Security clearance or ability to obtain one Physical Requirements: - Ability to walk construction sites and climb ladders - Capable of working in various weather conditions - Must be able to wear required PPE and safety equipment - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Work Schedule: - Available on an on-call basis with flexibility to respond to project needs - May require extended hours during critical project phases - Possible weekend work as required by project schedules
