Category Management & Analytics Intern (Summer 2025)
Location: Middleton, WI

Job Purpose
Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for market research and analytics? We are seeking a Category Management & Analytics Intern to join our team in Middleton, WI, for Summer 2025. In this role, you will dive deep into business and market data, uncover trends, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Analytics teams, you'll play a key role in shaping product performance and category growth while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify improvements in product performance and overall portfolio productivity.
  • Presentation Support: Assist in creating compelling product sell-in presentations to support portfolio success.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate and efficient management of product data throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Project Management Tool Enhancements:
    • Streamline project workflows by automating approval processes.
    • Develop and implement user-friendly forms.
    • Enhance portfolio management capabilities within the project management tool.
  • Promotion & Pricing Analytics: Support decision-making through detailed promotion and pricing analyses.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research on competitors, key customers, and top products across relevant categories.
  • Other Analytical Projects: Collaborate on additional projects and initiatives assigned by the Analytics team.

Education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field, with anticipated graduation within the next 12-24 months.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong interest in category management, market research, and analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau and Power Automate (or similar software).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing professional-quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.

Language Skills

  • Fluent in English.
