About the Role:
The role is aimed to manage the business relationships with the assigned clients (Independents) in order to drive sales and deliver the Ferrero Point Of Purchase (POP) objectives, including ownership of state Financial Management, Distribution, Category/Shelf Management, Display and Promotional Activity. The role holds the responsibility for Queensland and South Australia and communicates to the state operations team the sales strategies, distribution and shelf management targets, promotional program and display initiatives for the assigned customers, that are represented in the state operations team responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage the clients cross functionally, be the central point of contact internally and externally for assigned clients and also support relevant internal teams in the management of their distributor and retail network nationally
Own the key accounts financial management, forecasts and be responsible for providing solutions to respective matters in these accounts
Implement yearly theAccount Plan and provide inputs into the National plan whilst aligning Ferrero and key account strategies
Manage activities planning and control. Implement and evaluate promotional program(s), including clash calendar and catalogue measurement
Monitor the retail and promotional price, the performance of the assigned client within channel and ensure the proper application of commercial guidelines
Provide the commercial insights for implementation of relevant account and category plans
Control and contribute to the achievement of state sales budgets by brand within designated state/s and key accounts within budgeted trade spend and reporting and development of the business plans
Manage client development and identify current and future growth drivers
Monitor client performance, highlighting the main gaps and causes including promotional performance, distribution and opportunities to maximise distribution
Manage and support negotiations, prepare and present the strategies for their assigned clients
Develop the launch plans of all NPD within the wholesaler and retail customer base, prepare and present the assigned client's category reviews
Manage client relationship with all assigned clients in line with commercial guidelines
Hold accountability for monitoring and achievement of budget within trade spend allowance, gap recovery initiatives and facilitating business plan activation within commercial guidelines
Manage assigned clients credits, work with the Finance team and client to solve critical issues
Who we are looking for:
University degree
Relevant commercial experience in FMCG with strong professional and market knowledge, experience with independents is preferred
Strong business acumen, experience with channel and customer plans, as well as commercial logistics, sales, field & merchandising processes
Advanced communication and influencing skills, account management, negotiation and leadership skills
Strong analytical,high result orientation,multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, proactivity
Effective time management and high adaptability to changing environment
People management, ability to work across teams and cross-functionally, being a good team player and contributor
Strong MS Office knowledge, SAP proficiency is aplus
