CAS is currently seeking a Data Engineer for our Business Intelligence and Analytics team with experiences on Tableau Dashboard development and DevOps support along with data engineering functions. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Summary:

As a part of BI&A Data Engineering team, the Data Engineer will support a rapidly growing Business Data & Analytics Platform focused on providing data product solutions that empower our core business users to turn data into actionable insights. The data engineer will work as a dedicated team member to develop tableau dashboards, support DevOps and Data engineering functions.

Job Accountabilities:



  • Design, Develop, Maintain, and Manage Tableau driven dashboard and analytics along with data warehouse experience.
  • Support tableau administrative/architecture.
  • Monitor existing reports and dashboards and make necessary enhancements as required.
  • Proficiency with data management best practices within Tableau to increase delivery and scalability of dashboards including data ingestion (ETL), data connection, data modeling and data flows.
  • Develop automation scripts and CI/CD pipeline using relevant tools to streamline product deployment processes.
  • Monitor system performance and take necessary actions to address performance deteriorations.
  • Develop detailed technical requirements, design documentation, test scripts, run books and other associated artifacts.
  • Designs and develops data structures and pipelines for ingestion and transformation of data for analytical or operational uses across a wide variety of business needs and enterprise data domains.
  • Being an active and collaborating member of an Agile/Scrum team and following all Agile/Scrum best practices
  • Demonstrate creativity and ingenuity to perform assignments and create solutions.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or similar discipline with 5+ years' combined experiences as Tableau developer, DevOps and Data Engineering.


Proficient with:



  • Data Visualization-Tableau
  • Programming language - SQL, Linux or Unix Command, Shell Scripting
  • Data Platform -Snowflake Data Cloud, AWS Cloud Services
  • Platform Administration - Snowflake, Tableau, Talend, NICE CXone
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab
  • Comfortable learning about and deploying new technologies and tools.
