We are seeking a proactive and enterprising candidate to implement Enterprise Data Governance across the organization. This individual will be responsible for YODA adoption, which focuses on data ownership, cataloging, and lineage management. The implementation of YODA will involve onboarding data products, managing access, build integrations and workflows between various systems, coordinating with business units, and leading training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Collaborate with business units to:

• Establish data governance structures for data products.
• Enrich the catalog with business knowledge (stewards).
• Review and approve catalog content (owners).
• Define user access groups for the catalog.

Lead webinar and training sessions. Oversee data set onboarding, catalog, and lineage development. Develop and implement data protection plans in coordination with Cyber Security and Risk & Compliance teams Manage Alation platform updates and integrations with new applications. Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution. Maintain active metadata management dashboards.

Relevant Skills and Expertise:

• Process Design & Implementation: Expertise in developing and optimizing data governance processes. Project Management skills
• User Adoption: Proven ability to drive adoption of systems and processes across business units.
• Data Quality: Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and governance best practices. Strong background in Oil & Gas Data products
• Master Data & Transaction Management: Hands-on experience with SAP and other data sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience in developing and optimizing data governance processes.
