Duties and Responsibilities
The position is for a post-baccalaureate research assistant who will help experimental design, data collection, data analysis, and manuscript writing. The experimental design work involves programming experiments in Matlab, working collaboratively with teammates to develop experimental methods, and helping develop novel hypotheses about the visual perception of shapes. The data collection work involves posting timeslots on SONA and running in-person experiments on Loyola campus. Data analysis involves analyzing and interpreting data. Manuscript writing involves writing up results (e.g., creating tables that present data), assistance with literature reviews, references, and formatting. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field and zero-one year of related experience.
