The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Plant Operations.

The Horsham Clinic is a 206-bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Plant Operations is a part of our Senior Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for oversight of public utilities, security systems (alarms, access controls, etc.), HVAC systems, physical plant operations, housekeeping, dietary, grounds landscaping as well as managing capital projects. This individual will ensure compliance with pertinent healthcare building codes, accreditation standards, OSHA, and contractual work specifications and oversee emergency facilities operational initiatives and plans. In addition, this individual will oversee all construction projects and any work performed by outside vendors and contractors, while assuring that all work performed meets fire and safety codes.

Oversees all day-to-day operations of Maintenance, Environmental Services and Dietary Departments. Works closely with Executive team, Purchasing and Clinical Departments to ensure seamless workflows. Attends and is a member of various workplace committees as well as serves as the facility's Safety Officer.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

  • Five to Ten years of progressive experience in supervision and maintenance
  • Must have experience with reading blueprints
  • Understand Life Safety Codes
  • Joint Commission and other regulatory Standards preferred
  • OSHA Regulations
  • Experience in a psychiatric facility highly preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license

Additional Requirements:

  • Specific experience should include maintenance installation, construction, and maintenance of grounds, utilities, and buildings
  • HVAC Certification preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
