Compensation & Benefits - Full-time year-round - Salary range: $35.00 Per Hour - Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and HSA benefit plans - 401(k) plan with match - Paid vacation and sick time - Uniforms and weather gear - Complimentary lunch - Golfing privileges Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Saturday and Sunday Every other week - 5AM - 2PM Key Responsibilities - Assist in planning and implementing golf course maintenance practices. -Assist in irrigation additions, repair, and maintenance - Supervise, train, and inspire grounds staff to achieve exceptional course conditions. - Oversee and perform fertilizers and pesticide applications in compliance with all regulations. - Monitor course conditions, including turf health and irrigation systems, and implement corrective actions as needed. - Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment. - Collaborate on budget planning, inventory management, and maintenance schedules. -Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with the Grounds Manager on renovation and improvement projects. - Step into the Golf Course Superintendent's role as needed. Requirements: Educational Requirements 2- or 4-year degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or a related field. Experience Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of golf course maintenance experience, with leadership experience preferred. - Strong knowledge of agronomy, turfgrass science, and irrigation systems. - Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. - Passion for golf and a commitment to delivering world-class member experience Application Deadline: February 28, 2025 or until position is filled NOTE: This description excludes non-essential and marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the fundamental job duties.
