POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Learning & Development team this position's primary focus is on driving the development and implementation of Learning Solutions. This position will work closely with the HR leadership team to identify and prioritize L&D activities and core curriculum while ensuring programs link to business strategies and to individual development.

This position performs analysis, design, development, and assessment of L&D programs/solutions; supports the overall program delivery for training and actively works with the OD and learning specialist teams to ensure a wholistic employee experience.

This position will partner closely with the Director of Learning & Development and perform key facilitation in leadership programs and development work.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own quality andeffectiveness of training acrossNestle USA; Coach, train and develop L&D managers
  • Re-design individual contributor curriculum to support business needs
  • Renovate, develop or outsource learning solutions for key identified areas
  • Lead training strategy for NUSA projects that crossover multiple functions, or divisions

Design Learning & Development Solutions

  • Partner with key stakeholder groups to design, prioritize and deliver L&D solutions based on competency gaps and business needs
  • Partner with strategic leaders and subject matter experts to identify and develop matrices in order to identify specific learning & development needs
  • Design, create, andmaintain learning & development solutions, including: core learning materials / curriculum forspecific levels, identification of 70-20-10 activities and proper delivery of L&D activities
  • Create, perform, and analyze the results of a needs assessment to support the identification of L&D solutions whichclose critical competency gaps
  • Facilitate SME workshopsto confirm or designL&D activities
  • Provide expertise in Organization Development, performance management, and execution of change by supporting these activities whenever possible
  • Participate in leadership discussions / decisions related to competency identification and solutions to close competency gaps, including talent assessments and talent development
  • Partner with HRBP'sto identify anddeliver L&D solutions for high potential employees

Program Management, Delivery & Execution

  • Partner closely with program managers to deploy key learning programs
  • Develop and maintain annual project plan to develop, execute, and maintain L&D activities
  • Deliver courses in a variety of formats, including Virtual, classroom, and other blended learning platforms
  • Design or collaborate with instructional designers (internal or external) to design course content
  • Assess and monitor the effectiveness of all learning and development initiatives against predefined metrics
  • Manage learning projects on time and within budget

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • BS/BA in Business, Sales, Human resources, training and development, organization development, or a related field required
  • MS/MA/MBA is preferred
  • 7-10 years of learning & development experience
  • Position requires up to 25% travel

SKILLS:

  • Candidates should possess or have a strong willingness to learn platform facilitation, course design skills and organization development skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to successfully deploy and implement large-scale projects
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross functional teams
  • Strong organizational and/or project management skillsrequired
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex concepts in business terms
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simple process flows
  • Proven strategic and innovative thinking skills
  • Ability to conceptualize creative solutions, document them, and present/sell them to senior management
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Strong interpersonal skills (i.e., listening, counseling and coaching, negotiation skills)
