Title: Tax Error Resolver/ Tax Preparer/ Tax Refund Location: Richmond, VA 23219 Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hours on W2 Duration: 6+months Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day Parking Fee: $49/month Job Description: Basic knowledge and/or experience with federal and Virginia state individual income tax forms. Experience using a Windows-based computer and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing with internal entities in a business or work environment using correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar in a concise and clear manner. Experience obtaining information from one or more sources to reach a conclusion. (For example, review information from a letter or tax return and make a decision based on instruction) Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to perform online inquiries and updates to an automated system. Ability to perform basic math functions. Ability to work independently with minimal direction and also in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining customer focus. Ability to maintain a regular workweek schedule of 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Other Requirements: Selected candidates will be required to consent to and successfully pass a background investigation that includes a fingerprint-based criminal history and tax compliance check. The selected candidate will be prohibited from performing tax or accounting services for compensation during or outside business hours.
