What You'll do:

Who We are Looking for:

Groundswell is growing and looking for an Appian Analyst to join our team! This person will be responsible for partnering with our Appian product teams and potentially engaging customers to generate requirements specific to Appian applications.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Prod Dev Managers in defining the minimum viable product (MVP) for a given application / product and the supporting release plans.
  • Collaborates with Product Dev Managers and technology stakeholders (e.g., Systems Architects) to define new and or enhanced product requirements and functionality.
  • Collaborates with Product Dev Managers to support the prioritization of feature enablers defined by architects within the product roadmap.
  • Delivers and maintains user engagement analytics for the purpose of characterizing users (i.e. sectors, demographics, needs, requirements, etc.) and supporting case studies and other anecdotal information
  • Authors user stories by breaking down big problems into small stories that provide value to users, with detailed acceptance criteria that developers and QA can rely upon to complete their tasks.
  • Works continuously with teams to provide answers, feedback and direction on work items, enablers, user stories.
  • Consults Product Dev Managers for guidance and clarity on the product vision, roadmap, requirements.
  • Collaborates with team to define the sprint plan based on the priority outlined within the overall product vision and roadmap.
  • Refines product requirements based on the input obtained through user engagements, sprint showcases, and demos.
  • Collaborates with the team to prepare the estimates for the user stories within the product backlog.
  • Conducts the formal review and acceptance of user stories implemented by a team.
  • Identifies, tracks, and manages risks; escalates when necessary.
  • Use tools such as TFS, Jira and Github for different project management responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or related field
  • 2+ years of experience performing analysis and refining requirements for implementing Appian applications
  • Detail oriented with experience working on several products at one time
  • Experience working in an agile environment

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$94,714.00 - $133,735.00
