Job Summary

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and office support. This position is responsible for duties at the front receptionist area, the mailroom, providing general support to the Corporate Office, while ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Family Vision, Core Purpose, Core Values, Strategic priorities and business objectives.

Essential Job Accountabilities

  1. Comply, understand, and promote corporate and division safety initiatives to ensure "Safety before All Else."
  2. Provide excellent customer service when answering customer calls by applying knowledge of Graniterock products and services. In addition, direct calls to the appropriate branch or Graniterock team member.
  3. Perform Corporate Office front desk reception responsibilities including greeting, admitting, announcing, and assisting visitors.
  4. Provide general office and administrative support.
  5. Responsible for in-coming and out-going courier bags containing branch correspondence and mail.
  6. Responsible for all Corporate Office mailing needs, including distributing mail, processing outgoing mail, picking up and taking mail to the Post Office, accepting and sending freight (Fed-ex, UPS etc.) packages.
  7. Coordinate with vendors that provide maintenance/repair services for mailroom equipment for the Corporate Office.
  8. Provide AR support by making bank deposits and assisting in the preparation of weekly invoices, courtesy letters and end-of-month summaries for mailing.
  9. Maintain all Corporate Office general use areas such as copy areas, meeting areas and the Cookhouse so that they are fully stocked and tidy, including inventory and supply needs for those areas.
  10. Maintain file archives for the Corporate Office which includes retention and shredding, per the document retention guideline.

Education and Work Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* 2 years of customer service experience.

* 1+ years general office experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* A pleasant, professional voice/manner, strong listening/memory skills, and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment are essential.

* General knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite skills.

* Able to organize billing and inventory.

* Ability to lift 25 lbs.

* Ability to work flexible hours (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) as needed.

* Must have a clean driving record.
