MicroHealth is seeking Network Services Manager for effort supporting National Guard Bureau (NGB) National Capital Region's (NCR) Network Enterprise Center (NEC) infrastructure, networks, Audio/Visual (A/V) services, photo services, telecommunications services, and associated services. NGB NCR NEC utilizes the ITIL best practices framework as the basis for ITSM IT model. Candidate shall be responsible for ARNG NGB NCR NEC IT services and support such as CAN and LAN operations.

This is a Planned Position.

Location: 111 South George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA with some travel required to Offices located at the Pentagon, Ft. McNair, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and the NGB Alternate Site.

Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret Required

Job Duties:

The Network Services Manager shall be responsible for ARNG NGB NCR NEC IT services and

support such as CAN and LAN operations. All TARC LAN devices (e.g., routers, firewalls, switches, network appliances, servers, storage devices, end-user devices, MFDs, etc.) are managed by the contractor.

Administer the NGB NCR NEC portion of DODIN-A and DODIN-A-SIPR networks

Manage comprehensive administration of all NCR LAN devices, including:

  • Routers

  • Firewalls

  • Switches

  • Network appliances

  • Storage devices

  • Print servers

  • End-user devices (laptops, desktops, zero clients, thin clients, tablets)

  • Multifunction devices (MFDs)

Administer the Organizational Unit (OU) within the NG Microsoft AD Domain

Ensure secure configuration and testing of all devices before installation on NCR LAN

Regularly update devices with:

  • Vendor patches

  • Security patches

  • Operating system upgrades

  • Firmware upgrades

  • New security configurations

Perform and test periodic backups of mission-critical information

Configure all devices according to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

Monitor communications from government agencies (USCYBERCOM, DISA, ARCYBER, ARNG) for applicable directives, including:

  • Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs)

  • Cyberspace Task Orders (CTOs)

  • Cyber Network Defense (CND) Directives

  • STIG releases

Develop and maintain site-specific equipment inventory and configuration, including:

  • As-built diagrams and schematics

  • Rack space layouts

Maintain network availability in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Manage various end-point security products, such as:

  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

  • Host-Based Security Solution (HBSS)

  • Tanium

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, Statistics, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • A minimum of five years of experience managing network services for a similar network to that of the current ARNG NGB NCR NEC environment.

  • A minimum of five years of experience operating and maintaining network services for COOP sites.

Required Certifications:

  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III or IAM Level III.

  • ITIL Foundation Level Certification.

Salary: $110,000- $130,000

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
