PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Program Assistant for the Jefferson Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education (JCIPE) will be responsible for support of Center programs and activities, including operational leadership of new/emerging initiatives. Reporting to the Program Specialist, the incumbent will assist with all program development, delivery, evaluation and scholarship efforts. In supporting a broad array of Center programs and activities, the Program Assistant will be responsible for maintaining consistency and ongoing process and policy improvement.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports program coordinators and faculty program managers in the development and delivery of JCIPE programs
  • Works across all JCIPE programs to maintain consistency, disseminate and implement best practices, and strengthen interprofessional experiences across the continuum of learners
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for Center programs, communicating and providing faculty, staff, student, volunteer and patient support
  • Develops and disseminates program materials, assisting with marketing and recruitment
  • Maintains and supports electronic program delivery and evaluation platforms, leading JCIPE's expansion of virtual platforms
  • Collects, tracks and processes program evaluations and compiles evaluation reports as part of assessing/improving Center activities
  • Participates in Center and program research endeavors, including participant consent and qualitative data collection; quantitative data collection and compilation; and scholarship
  • Manages space, A/V, food and other logistical aspects of program delivery
  • Oversees program and JCIPE general email accounts and other duties as assigned including JCIPE conference app, updating of web content, and daily social media activity
  • Assists in organizing, prepping for and administering meetings and event planning, including biennial JCIPE conference
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior professional work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Computer proficiency in word processing and basic Excel required
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as to function independently
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve
