Jefferson County Human Services operates the Lueder House, a 24/7/365, 8-bed Community Based Residential Facility that was established in 1980. The home serves as both an acute care facility for adults experiencing mental health or substance use concerns and who are in immediate crisis but not in need of hospitalization and as a crisis/assessment home for short-term placement, with an ongoing purpose to keep adults challenged by mental illness within the community and to minimize or prevent psychiatric hospitalizations whenever possible. WHAT YOU WILL DO
The facility is hiring a full-time Crisis Stabilization Supervisor to join the team that will provide emergency mental health services to adults diagnosed with a mentally illness and/or substance use disorder and who are in immediate crisis but not in eed of hospitalization. SOME ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be successful in this role by completing the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations of the licensing requirements for CBRF, including facility programming, staff supervision, record keeping, scheduling, cleaning, and other facility operations.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans for each resident, taking into account their unique needs and preferences. Completes required and requested reports, forms and other data such as activity summaries, medication charts, year-end reports, expense reports, client behavioral summaries, and others. Processes requests for release of client information.
- Monitors and improves the quality of care and services provided in the crisis stabilization unit, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Processes client grievances and mediates client-staff disputes.
- Ensures the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents by coordinating and monitoring their daily care, including healthcare, crisis situations, nutrition, and social activities.
- Implements safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and security measures to protect residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Three years' related experience and or training or associates and one year experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years' community residential facility work experience.
- Degree in Behavioral Science or closely related field.
Preferred Requirements:
- Four years related experience and or training, or a bachelor's degree from a college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Wage & Benefits
Wage starts at $30.37 - $32.12/ per hour depending on qualifications.
