Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, wound healing center, swing bed care, 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility. Responsibilities The pharmacy technician I, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School graduate or GED. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment. Preferred Job Requirements: 1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment). Current BLS.
