Job Description: As a Diesel Maintenance Apprentice, you will support the maintenance, repair, and operation of heavy trucks and equipment while gaining hands-on experience and valuable technical knowledge. Working closely with skilled technicians and trades professionals, you will develop the skills needed for a successful career in heavy equipment and related fields. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect heavy trucks & equipment for damage, safety concerns, and repair needs. Perform small repairs, oil changes, and routine maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment. Document all repairs and updates in fleet management software. Operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders and forklifts. Assist with shop and yard organization, cleaning, and maintenance tasks, including snow removal and landscaping. Wash and prepare equipment for projects and dispatch. Shadow experienced technicians, welders, and trades professionals to develop skills. Support material handling, event setup, and special projects as needed. Work safely, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Interest in heavy trucks, equipment, mechanics, or construction trades. Enrollment in a technical program for Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and operating machinery. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.

Part-time hours to be determined. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
