Job Overview

Take the wheel as a Senior Operations Manager of Logistics at Marvin and drive our team toward success! In this role, you will lead a multi-site logistics operation by creating efficiencies and acting as a coach and mentor to our logistics leadership teams, drivers and truck garage team members. You will grow and develop the team to facilitate future succession through upcoming retirements.

Highlights of your role

Manage departmental budget, perform capacity planning, and develop a tractor/trailer procurement strategy accordingly.

Reduce costs and increase efficiencies across the enterprise through organizational structure, route optimization, and more.
Innovate product handling and packaging practices, including how we unload trucks.
Ensure drivers and driving processes (titles, licenses, fuel tax, etc.) are handled in a consistent and safe manner; driver safety is the top priority.

Compensation

$107,856 - $143,810

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
Experience managing a departmental budget
Experience with Department of Transportation regulations and requirements
Ability to collaborate with third-party logistics providers

Also want to make sure you have

Bachelor's degree in a related-field
5-10 years of strong senior leadership experience
Proven track record of successfully leading continuous improvement in safety
