Columbia University in the City of New York: Columbia University Irving Medical Center: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: Pathology Location 02 Open Date Aug 15, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $65,508.00 $77,000.00 Description Reporting to the Director for the Center for Advanced Laboratory Medicine (CALM), the Staff Associate III will be responsible for managing virological testing and supporting microbiological and other clinical laboratory studies located in the COVID-19 CLIA certified clinical laboratory. The Staff Associate III's role will primarily be technical and involve collecting samples, perform lab tests and validation, phlebotomy, and any other logistical laboratory testing support. They will occasionally communicate with their manager and other laboratory personnel. The Staff Associate III will perform safe laboratory practices. Responsible for other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in specific research field and 4-6 years' experience.
