Job Summary:

Drive innovation and excellence in building new products for our unique clients. Primary purpose is to evaluate, analyze, and underwrite complex opportunities, and implement cutting-edge insurance solutions embedded in non-insurance platforms. In addition, responsible for underwriting practice for InsurTechs, working closely with Business Development and Operations to evaluate best-in-class partners and ensure underwriting excellence.

Plays a pivotal role in shaping underwriting strategy, building from scatch product offerings, and delivering exceptional value to partners and customers in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

HSB's focus domains include Equipment breakdown, Engineering, Cyber, Business Interruption & more.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Insurance Product Development experience essential
  • 10+ years' experience in the insurance and/or reinsurance industry.
  • Commercial and/or Cyber Underwriting experience
  • CPCU or RPLU or other relevant insurance industry designation preferred
  • Experience in the Cyber, Tech E&O or similar (preferred)
  • Experience writing CLIPs and Performance Guarantees (preferred)
