Software Development - 100%

• Works with product owners to determine needed functionality and development solutions of future systems.
• Designs and implements software application solutions.
• Assists in flow charting and diagramming processes and provides documentation of programming activities as needed.
• Develops assigned features and sections of systems.
• Designs code to be easy to read and adjust, and re useable in future systems.
• Checks functionality of programming code with senior team and ensures that assigned sections are completely bug free and unit tested.
• Participates in the peer code review process.
• Ensures all coding work is properly documented.
• Makes suggestions to increase efficiency in project development.
• Reads and understands relational database schemas and data model diagrams and can develop efficient queries to manage data stored in data models.
• Reconfigures business requests and transitions to a solution within a programming language.
• Ensures all coding work follows the release pipeline process.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

• May work on special projects or other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

• May communicate with external vendors and service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• 5+ years of software development experience required.
• Previous Agile experience preferred.
