Repair Specialist

BASIC FUNCTION: Repair furniture product for rent or to be sold on clearance floor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Clean, touch up, repair and /or refinish furniture

*Report any problems with furniture to Ops Mgr.

*Follow prescribed processes for refinishing product

*Lifting required

*Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

*Must be able to see color

*Refinishing and touch up of wood and High-Pressure laminate

*Burn in work

*Grain matching

*Ability to use power tools and spray guns

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Organization and time management skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service and problem solving oriented.
• Available to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to use basic tools such as screwdriver, cordless drills, hammers, or any other assembly tool.
• Basic math knowledge, organization and reading skills.

EDUCATION:

• Degree: High School or Equivalent
• Languages: English and Spanish languages preferable; verbal and written.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least six months of experience in a similar industry, warehousing and inventory knowledge from a delivery company or similar industry.
• Applying & mixing touch up colors
• Refinishing and touch up experience in a production environment

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• This job will require lifting 75 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and being physically active for extended periods of time.
