As a Senior Technical Intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to Internal Research and Development (IRAD) projects that shape the future of IT. This internship is a hands-on experience, where you'll work alongside experts to develop and refine software solutions using agile methodologies. You'll gain exposure to real-world applications, collaborate across disciplines, and play a role in solving complex technical challenges that impact national security.

Key Responsibilities:

• The candidate will work on a multi-disciplined team that is involved in many areas of research, software development and rigorous testing.
• The candidate will support CTC Internal Research and Development (IRAD) projects focused on data analytics, machine learning and deep learning technologies. Projects will apply agile development techniques to quickly and efficiently develop software solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• The selected candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited university studying Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline and have ideally completed their junior year of the program.
• Working knowledge developing software with a language used in data analysis such as Python, R, Scala, Java or C++.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Torch, TensorFlow, Apache Spark MLib or Amazon Machine Learning.
• Excellent organizational, communication and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently within a diverse technical team.
• Ability to work closely with project teams and potentially external clients to propose solutions to requirements.
